my god is able!

and now, all glory to God, who is able to keep you from stumbling, and who will bring you into his glorious presence innocent of sin and with great joy. all glory to him, who alone is God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord. yes, glory, majesty, power, and authority belong to him, in the beginning, now, and forevermore. amen!
this is one of the verses from my S.O.A.P. reading today and i L O V E it! it's one of those "i need to read this over and over again" kind of passages because there is just so much to comprehend. all glory to god, my god, who is able to keep me from stumbling; my god who will bring me into his presence innocent of sin, with great joy; my god, my savior, my LORD! what a great way to start my day.
throughout this week i've been reminded of how great god is. we had a video-cast of mark batterson's God is...Incomparable message this past sunday. he does a remarkable job of illustrating how big our god is and the injustice we not only give him, but ourselves when we try to contain his greatness to what our little minds can fathom.
god knew i was going to need that knowledge this week. there have been some struggles that i've had to deal with personally and some that friends are going through and my only answer, and one that i am so grateful to have and believe to my core is: god is. that's it...god is. he is able, he is just, he is mercy, he is power, he is grace, he IS! he is then, he is now, he is in the future. MY GOD IS!
