on saturday, trey asked jesus into his heart! the last few days he has been asking all kinds of questions - mostly about what sin "looks like". monday afternoon we had some family time and we were driving around looking at houses. down one of the streets there were some big, black crows. nate made some passing comment about not being particularly fond of that bird (he's not fond of any birds really...or animals for that matter...with the exception of sandy-pants of course). trey's response? "are they like that because of sin?" then, last night there was a bit of a mishap in the carl bathroom - trey's fingers got shut in the door. as he is standing in the shower, crying, with his middle finger high in the air, he blurts out to nate, "agggghhhh, why did adam and eve have to go to that garden?!" from the mouths of babes...
