2011 seemed to slip through my fingers...it was here and gone before i knew it! and already, we're half way through january of 2012. i decided, a while back, that being in full-time ministry makes time tick away quickly...well at least at believers. :) we're always planning for the next series, the next small group semester, the next outreach project and in the midst of all that planning those dates seem to creep up on us in no time!
i am excited for what 2012 holds.

anywhoo...it's off to a great start. nate and i (along with the staff and many others from believers) have begun the daniel fast. nate and i did it last year for the first time and knew we were going to make fasting a regular part of our lives. i believe we grow closer to the lord and am looking forward to how he challenges and blesses us throughout this process.
we have gotten news from our "family" in norway that we're having a norske invasion in february!! can't wait to see them and wish everyone could come - maybe someday. we're also hoping for a spring visit from kris and linds. then in may i'm heading to brazil with our executive pastor and children's ministry director!! woowhooo! in july we're heading back to our "2nd home" in puerto cabezas, nicaragua - we're hopeful to take the boys with us this year.
with all that on the horizon, i don't want to loose focus on today. it's a beautiful day outside, my kids are busy at school, and i get the chance to hang out with the most fabulous man i know. god is good and i sit here a very grateful woman.
