ugh! i just can't do it. i've tried to be more diligent in keeping up with this, but as you can tell it's really just a bunch of empty promises. sigh.
okay...here's the rundown on the carl household...
carissa graduated!!! yay!! she is now in the throws of preparing to get to college. she'll be going to liberty university in lynchburg - i think we move her in on august 13th or something like that.
the boys are doing great. spencer is at massanutten this week with one of his best buds, trevor. trey is pretty sad without 'bubba' around, but he's mananging to keep himself busy. he broke into the robot at food lion (a grocery store) the other day. he's planing to be on america's got talent for beat boxin' and breakin'!
i'm doing okay. thanks for all your prayers and concern with my health stuff. i am being treated for severe iron deficient anemia (everything else came back okay - PTL!!), so i had my infusion a little over a month ago. i was expecting some real super results, but eh... i go back on the 18th for some follow-up stuff, so i'm just waiting to see what comes of that.
nate is busy with work and being with his boys! he was out in mn a few weeks ago and we were both in nyc for a short term missions trip at the end of june. we had a great time! as soon as nate brings the camera back to me i'll try to get some pics on the blog. we've had some really fun busch gardens and beach days too! i'm able to work 4 days a week in the summer which has let us have Family Fridays - i love 'em!!
